Position Overview:As a Market Vendor, you'll be the face of our bakery at farmers markets—setting up our booth, displaying products beautifully, engaging with customers, handling transactions, and ensuring a smooth and successful market day. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and being part of a fast-paced, small business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time to transport and set up the market booth, display tables, signage, and baked goods
- Maintain an attractive and organized product display throughout the day
- Greet customers warmly and answer questions about products and ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with market visitors
- Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs or customer feedback to the bakery team
- Clean up and pack down the booth at the end of the market
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and display
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.52 - $21.71 per hour
