About the role :
The Director of External Affairs is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the company's external affairs and communications functions. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy industry, government regulations, and public policy. The Director of External Affairs will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's reputation, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and advocate for the company's interests.
This role will report into the VP, Regulatory and External Affairs.

Develop and implement comprehensive external affairs and communications strategies.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field.

Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.

10 years of experience in external affairs, public relations, or government affairs.
li data-leveltext="
Strong understanding of the energy industry, including regulatory and policy issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong writing and presentation skills.

Proven track record of success in managing complex projects and building relationships.

Estimated Starting Salary Range :
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $176,000 - $204,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
