The Nueva Lower School is currently seeking a full-time lead teacher who is passionate about integrated, project-based learning. This person will collaborate with a grade level team to develop and teach curricula related to the year-long theme while also supporting the development of reading, writing, and philosophy skills. They will co-lead the students in hosting a year-end culmination. In May, the class participates in a three-night overnight trip and this teacher will co-chaperone. Additional responsibilities for all full-time teachers include supporting student well-being, developing and delivering differentiated curriculum, teaching collaboratively, writing narrative progress reports, maintaining a weekly parent blog, and mentoring an associate teacher.

Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's required
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
- Formal or informal experience with elementary aged students
- Experience and/or education in developing reading, writing, and math skills
- Experience with project based learning and teaching
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to integrate curriculum with other subjects and to teach collaboratively
Compensation
The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $79,200 - $145,900. The starting salary is based upon, but not limited to, several factors that include type and years of experience, education level, and expertise.
