Your role with the company:
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to the Asset Manager for a luxury property management company in Poughkeepsie, New York.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Working under the supervision and direction of the Asset Manager, supporting the day-to-day tasks for management and operation of multiple properties within their portfolio. If you are organized, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities and Duties
· Manage and organize office operations and procedures.
· Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
· Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical.
· Prepare notices, letters, reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
· Handle mini projects, including creating spreadsheets, visiting properties and completing inspections along side the Asset Manager.
· Assist with general administrative tasks to support the Asset Manager and team.
Honesty, Reliability, Detail Oriented, COMMUNICATION, Workmanship Pride & Accountability, and Positive Tenant Interaction a must.

Qualifications:
Have a valid driver’s license and willing to travel short distances when needed
Must be reliable, trustworthy, and a team player
Polite with experience working in a customer service environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional time management skills and work hard to get daily job tasks done on time each day
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass a background test

Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; occasional weekends where needed
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Experience in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
Experience with Appfolio Property Management a plus, but not required. Will train the right candidate.
