Position Summary
The role of the Business Analyst is to facilitate dialogue with multiple project stakeholders to effectively gather, document, configure, test, and deliver trainings on the solution as it relates to the implementation of various software products, projects and/or processes. The ability to convey difficult, complex and/or sensitive information will be important. The Business Role plays a key part in data migration, custom report development, integration design, and software configurations. In the event that new features are requested by the customer, this role would document the new requirements and transition this knowledge to the Development team. This individual will become a product subject matter expert to best understand and apply client goals to project, product or process initiatives. Additionally, the Business Analyst may assist in additional project responsibilities (some highly complex), including but not limited to, project planning, creation of status reports, time tracking, project financials, creation and delivery of training materials, product support, etc. These projects may have significant and mid to long term impact to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.
Provides customer support to current users by report creation, current report maintenance and custom data requests for the enterprise platforms in use (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, SQL scripts, etc.). Provides ongoing communication with customers on system status and data issues. Performs business analysis functions, including gathering and documenting user and functional requirements, business rules, and data sources for new data needs and applications, creating specifications for development, developing test cases, source data identification and profiling, etc.
Assists in providing customer training, creation of materials, schedule and coordinating training and education events. Troubleshoots and maintains existing applications, monitor systems processes and schedules, performs QA of data, conduct error correction activities and system testing. Provides technical consulting on moderately complex enterprise data platform projects.

Minimum Qualifications
- A college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically has 6 years’ experience in business analysis or information technology (preferably experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, reporting and data analytics)
- Requiring excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to manage task without direct supervision
- Self-motivated and must be able to keep self-abreast of technology and healthcare trends
