What are the responsibilities and job description for the CFAES Academic Programs Student Assistant 1 position at The Ohio State University?
- Assist with CFAES Learning Outcomes Assessment operations by: Entering and maintaining data sets associated with academic program assessment for all 70 academic programs (undergraduate & graduate) within CFAES. Enters finding and assessment results into the universities online assessment documentation and reporting system. Formats assessment electronic and hardcopy documentation and data sets. Assist with producing artifacts presented via the CFAES Assessment web presence.
- Assist with producing visual identity artifacts, creating visual communication elements, and maintaining an online presence for the Academic Programs - Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. Support the unit's event planning and facilitation activities.
- Assist with the team's CFAES space asset event reservation processes by: Responds to questions from student organizations, staff, and faculty about event scheduling; tracking and documenting the process of entering event reservations into the university’s scheduling system; produces confirmations provided to user groups for event reservations; and maintains records of event reservations confirmations.
- Provides supplemental administrative support and other duties as required as needed for the Director - Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
Experience/Qualifications
Requires basic computer-based skills; experience in word-processing (WORD) & spreadsheets (EXCEL); experience with data set management. Requires communication skills, both oral and written; the ability to adhere to prescribed formats, instructions, directions, and procedures; and meet established timelines and high expectations.
