The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle Services for the Predoctoral, Graduate, and Specialty Clinics. The Clinics are a vital part of the College of Dentistry (COD) that serve to provide dental and hygiene students a mechanism to meet the clinical requirements for their degree program. The Clinics ensure optimal health care experiences for our patients and students. The Manager provides a wide variety of project management and support functions as a critical component of the College.
The Manager, Revenue Cycle Services is an integral member of the College of Dentistry (COD) that significantly impacts clinic revenue and Patient Financial Services. The manager interacts with senior leadership, deans, directors, chairs, managers and stakeholders concerning projects and operations and uses in-depth knowledge across multiple work areas, judgement, evaluation and interpretation skills to influence decisions. The manager must be detail oriented, autonomous, self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Manager directs projects and staff for the COD to improve Revenue Cycle Services for all the clinics to achieve organizational goals and support strategic plans. Will collaborate with all clinic staff to continuously re-design workflows to streamline processes and optimize revenue collections. Projects include developing Revenue Integrity, Quality Assurance and Billing Audit programs. The Manager supports all students, residents, and faculty.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm. This position may include weekends and evening work.

Candidate must be able to push / pull carts containing office supplies, bend / stretch / twist to pick up supplies, maintain office appearance, stand and walk for periods of time serving and assisting customers.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of health care or related experience. Prior experience with Healthcare Revenue Cycle in a supervisory role. Knowledge of dental coding and CDT codes. Knowledge of federal and state billing regulations for commercial and non-commercial dental plans. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; excellent computer skills; Electronic Health Record system, Microsoft Office experience; organizational skills; highly focused and results oriented; proven ability to use independent judgment, evaluation and interpretation to help others select the right course of action, anticipate needs and thrive in deadline-driven, fast paced environment; highly dependable and detail-oriented; planning and prioritization skills; ability to influence others outside of immediate area on policies, practices and procedures to gain cooperation others; solution oriented, troubleshooter and able to juggle multiple projects with shifting priorities.
