Additionally, the Archivist directly supports the work of other archivists in the ATS unit and partner units by coordinating and placing all orders for all supplies necessary to complete ongoing work, maintaining accurate inventories of archival supplies, and effectively managing archival supply storages rooms.
This position actively supports the teaching and research objectives of University Libraries Special Collections, coordinating and/or supporting workflows that ensure materials requested for use are made available quickly and efficiently. The Technical Services Archivist consistently demonstrates commitment to Ohio State University Libraries values and promotes an organizational culture of Discovery, Connection, Equity, Integrity, and Stewardship (https://library.osu.edu/strategic-directions) as well as dedication to advance the work of the Archival Technical Services Unit.
