About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Manage symptoms and side effects of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in California.
- Board certification as an NP (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
