Position Overview:
The One Club is seeking an experienced and dedicated Producer to oversee the full production life cycle of our major annual events, including The One Show, Creative Hall of Fame, Where Are All the Black People, Young Guns, and Creative Week. This role is pivotal to delivering high-caliber experiences, coordinating complex logistics, and managing all production aspects from pre-production through post-event wrap-up. As an extension of the Events team, the Producer will work closely with team members to coordinate venue logistics, manage vendor relations, and enhance the attendee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Production & Planning:
- Collaborate on the strategic planning and conceptualization for all TOCC flagship events.
- Manage comprehensive budgets for each event, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and cost-efficiency.
- Act as an extension of the Events team, working closely with them on all aspects of venue coordination, including food and beverage arrangements, decor, guest check-in, and other logistical elements.
- Excel in time management, setting clear deadlines and ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule for seamless event execution.
Production Management:
- Oversee the entire production life cycle, from logistics and staffing to schedule coordination.
- Manage the procurement and relationships with production companies and vendors, including AV, tech, talent, and other event services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with AV teams, ensuring all technical requirements are met and troubleshooting any issues in real-time.
- Take on the role of show caller during events when necessary, coordinating with production teams to execute seamless transitions and maintain smooth event flow.
- Judging & Event Logistics:
- Collaborate with the Events team to coordinate unique judging experiences, manage judging venues in both New York and the Dominican Republic, and enhance the experience for judges.
- Oversee production elements for in-person and online judging, covering tech, staffing, and logistical needs.
- Event Content & Video Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Video Production team to develop and produce video content that enhances the experience of each event.
- Procure and manage talent, including MCs, award presenters, and other entertainment.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in event production, with experience managing high-visibility events.
- Proven track record in budget management, vendor hiring, and end-to-end event production.
- Exceptional time management skills, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and motivate colleagues.
- Outstanding organizational skills and an aptitude for working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and experience with event production software/tools is preferred.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
