We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. The Mobile Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and transporting them to the laboratory for testing
Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to obtain blood samples
- Label vials accurately and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the blood-drawing process
- Transport samples for testing or storage
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the lab
Requirements:
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory terminology
- Familiarity with vital signs and patient care practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling specimens
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
