Experienced Litigation Paralegal Sought for Top International Law Firm
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation paralegal to join our team in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement all elements of litigation case management systems, including file management, case calendaring, discovery-related tasks, and trial activities.
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
- Assist attorneys with document reviews, including setup, coordination, and preparation of privilege logs.
- Understand and execute e-filing processes with state and federal courts and agencies.
- Prepare state and federal court filings in coordination with the Managing Attorney's Office.
- Draft and review routine legal documents as requested by attorneys.
- Conduct research under attorney supervision, focusing on precedent and legal matters.
- Interact with outside entities to gather information or coordinate activities as needed.
- Develop effective working relationships with others to facilitate a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience working at a law firm, preferably in litigation support.
- Familiarity with all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery, and trial.
- Proficiency in Relativity document hosting database and litigation support software, such as LiveNote and CaseMap.
- Strong knowledge of bluebooking, cite checking, and creating Table of Authorities.
- Excellent organizational skills, including time management and multitasking.
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within the firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro and LexisNexis, Westlaw, and BloombergLaw.
