Position Summary:
As a Bilingual Staffing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our staffing operations and ensuring candidates and clients have a smooth, welcoming experience. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who’s organized, people-focused, and eager to learn about the staffing industry while making a positive impact in the local community.
You’ll work directly with candidates, helping them through the hiring process, managing applications, supporting office operations, and assisting with recruiting events. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are essential to serve all of our teammates effectively.
What You’ll Do
Office & Administrative Support:
- Manage candidate applications and track them in our staffing technology platform.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with policies.
- Assist with new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification.
- Help coordinate and host onsite recruiting events and open houses.
- Perform general administrative tasks (printing, scanning, filing, etc.).
Candidate Experience:
- Greet visitors and job applicants with a welcoming and professional attitude.
- Answer incoming calls and assist candidates with their questions.
- Keep candidates informed about their application status and next steps.
- Support pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, and onboarding.
Recruiting & Community Support:
- Help promote job openings and assist with local recruiting initiatives.
- Use your bilingual skills to assist both English- and Spanish-speaking candidates.
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, professional attitude with a passion for helping people succeed.
- Comfortable learning and using staffing technology platforms.
- Experience in staffing, customer service, hospitality, or retail is a plus—but not required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication devices.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and desk work, and occasionally carry and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively during in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences as well as read and analyze written information and data on a computer screen.
