We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our OBGYN clinic located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Office Building 2 in North Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, a great positive attitude, and a customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care.
Primary duties include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, reviewing insurance benefit information with patients, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, scanning, obtaining medical records, and other duties as assigned. This position must be able to respond to both written and oral communication regarding scheduling changes and communicate with physician team in a timely and accurate manner. We are dedicated to a diverse environment and provide full scope obstetrics and gynecological services. Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years of EPIC experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
Workdays will be Monday through Friday (40 hours a week), with a potential Saturday coverage rotation of 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
- Level I - $19.18- $25.96 per hour.
- Level II - $21.10 - $28.55 per hour.
- Level III - $23.21 - $31.41 per hour.
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, and additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is strongly preferred. Specialty care OBGYN experience is a plus!
- Prior EMR Experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
