We are seeking a full-time Advice Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our OBGYN clinic located in North Portland on the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center campus. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
We take pride in providing excellent evidence-based patient care, as well as ensuring we have a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patients. Primary responsibility includes phone triage. Other duties include documenting phone conversations, follow-up, and limited onsite patient care, in addition to other duties assigned. There will also be the opportunity for in-office patient interactions by providing direct patient education, assisting with in office procedures, injection teaching, assisting physicians with initial OB visits/ongoing high-risk monitoring, scheduling appointments, and any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of previous nursing experience, and previous experience with EPIC. We are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and patient-focused work ethic. Candidates must have the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office.
Workdays will consist of four10-hour shifts per week. Free parking on hospital campus!
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
Registered Nurse:
- Level I $41.13-$55.65
- Level II $45.24-$61.21
Licensed Practitioner Nurse:
- Level I $28.18-$38.12
- Level II $31.00-$41.93
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience is required. 2 preferred.
- Previous EPIC experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in OBGYN is strongly preferred.
- Current Oregon State RN or LPN license is required.
- Previous experience in scheduling and EMR is preferred.
- Excellent phone skills and customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills required
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
