RN or LPN - Advice for OBGYN in NE Portland

We are seeking a full-time Advice Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology team located at Providence Plaza Medical Center in Northeast Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.  

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care. We take pride in providing excellent evidence-based patient care and ensuring we have a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patients. 

Primary responsibility includes phone triage. Other duties include documenting phone conversations, follow-up, and limited onsite patient care. There will also be the opportunity for in-office patient interactions by providing direct patient education, assisting with in-office procedures, injection teaching, assisting physicians with initial OB visits/ongoing high-risk monitoring, scheduling appointments, and any other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) years of previous nursing experience, and prior experience with EPIC. 

Remote/Hybrid work available when training is completed, and expectations are met. 

Workdays will be Monday - Friday (7:30 am-4:30 pm)

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

Registered Nurse: 

• Level I: $41.13-$55.65 per hour. 
• Level II: $45.24-$61.21 per hour. 
• Level III: $49.77-$67.33 per hour. 

Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Level I $28.18-$38.12 per hour. 
• Level II $31.00-$41.93 per hour. 

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, and additional duties. New employees typically begin at level one and are assessed for moving up levels based on skills and additional duties within their role. Timelines for progression vary based on individual skillsets and performance in clinic.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience is required. 2 years is strongly preferred. Specialty experience in OBGYN is a plus! 
• Current Oregon State RN or LPN license is required.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior EMR experience is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus!
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
• Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
