We are seeking an experienced full-time Payroll Specialist for our Central Administration Office in NE Portland (Hybrid/Remote). The primary responsibilities include processing bi-weekly timecards and assisting with bi-weekly and monthly payroll while adhering to all required deadlines. This role also involves managing all processes in the timekeeping program and assisting with maintaining HR and payroll data within the HRIS system. This position will be responsible for timekeeping program training of new employees and supervisors during orientation. Additionally, the position requires troubleshooting any issues that arise with the timekeeping system, processing terminations in accordance with state law, preparing necessary reports, and distributing them to the appropriate personnel. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities are essential!
Hybrid/Remote work is available when training is completed, and expectations are met. The workweek can be mostly remote, with one onsite day required in the office every other week.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials: $26.43-$35.75

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience with full-spectrum payroll administration is required. 3 years' experience is preferred.
- Experience with HRIS (UKG Pro) and Workforce Time Management (Kronos) systems is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable safety/OSHA procedures and requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
