We are seeking a full-time CMA to join our ENT clinic located in Oregon City. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate who is detail oriented, strong at multitasking, dedicated to high quality patient care and a flexible team player.
Primary duties include obtaining detailed medical histories, performing allergy tests as directed by physicians, administering allergy injections, performing patient education, and returning patient phone calls regarding allergy testing and/or treatment. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player with at least 2 years of experience preferably within an ENT specialty. We are looking for someone with strong medical assistant skills willing to be trained in the allergy department. Previous allergy experience is a plus!
Workdays will be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Starting pay range, based on experience:
CMA:
- Level I: $24.18-$32.72
- Level II: $26.60-$35.99
- Level III: $29.26-$39.59
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Allergy experience a big plus!
- Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Prior experience in ENT specialty strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Epic a plus.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and office staff, patients and their families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
