We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN- East Clinic located at the Providence Plaza Medical Center campus in NE Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care. Previous OBGYN experience is a plus!
Primary duties include rooming patients, assisting with in-office surgical procedures, patient education, other duties as assigned and being part of our workflow improvement team as we strive to provide the best patient care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior clinical experience. This position will primarily support our physician team with daily patient care operations.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm).
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
- Level I: $24.18-$32.72 per hour.
- Level II: $26.60-$35.99 per hour.
- Level III: $29.26-$39.59 per hour.
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, and additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred. Specialty experience in OBGYN is a plus!
- Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Prior EMR experience is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus!
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.

Salary : $24 - $33
