We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our Urogynecology Division located at Providence Plaza. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with strong customer service skills and have the ability to multitask in this fast-paced, team environment. Successful candidate will be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and dedicated to high quality patient care. We are searching for a self-starter with a strong work ethic, friendly demeanor, great attitude, ability to learn quickly, with excellent phone and computer skills. As a Urogynecology MA, you’ll gain valuable expertise and knowledge in anatomy, care, and treatments related to disorders of the pelvic floor, plus expertise in coordinating care among specialty services.
Primary duties include phone triage, managing and responding to patient calls, entering orders, processing documents, scheduling, reviewing/updating medications in EMR and performing other tasks as needed. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years medical assisting experience.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week. Hybrid work is possible once training and expectations are met.
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
Credentialed Medical Assistant (CMA):
- Level I: $24.18-$32.72
- Level II: $26.60-$35.99
- Level III: $29.26-$39.59
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- 1- 2 years medical assisting experience preferred.
- Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, etc).
- Current BLS Certification is required.
- Prior Epic experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong phone and computer skills are required.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
