We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology West division located at Peterkort Centre in SW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a candidate that is a self-starter, with a positive attitude, who can work independently, and has a customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least 2 year of medical front office experience, is team-oriented and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Primary duties will primarily involve phone communication, scheduling patient visits and procedures for our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), making outbound calls, and other duties as assigned. Remote/Hybrid work is available when training is completed and expectations are met.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday (9:00 am-5:30 pm).

Hiring Pay Based On Open Position, Experience, And Credentials
- Level I - $19.18- $25.96 per hour.
- Level II - $21.10 - $28.55 per hour.
- Level III - $23.21 - $31.41 per hour.
Medical, Vision and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous medical front office experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with EMR is preferred. EPIC experience is a plus!
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
