Estimator/Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions as follows:

• Fundamental understanding of multiple computer software programs but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) salesforce 360, CADD, Adobe Acrobat. Some roofing knowledge is preferred, must communicate proficiently, focus on detail, results driven, teamwork oriented, stress management/composure.
• Keep all (ITB’s) up to
• Responding to invitations to
• Create prospect and appointment on sales force 360 for the designated
• Downloading
  • Create folder with files downloaded for estimator(s)
  • Separate Architectural plans related to roofing, including plumbing, and mechanical roof
  • Separate scope related
  • Download all addendums and RFI’s as they become
• Verify if the project requires job walk and schedule
• Verify if the project requires mandatory pre-bid meeting and schedule
• Verify if the project requires prevailing
• Verify if prequalification packages are required, if so fill out and return in a timely

Project Management:

• Result projects won on salesforce
• Assist with material manufacturer warranty
• Review plans and Specifications with project manager before starting the submitting
• Create job specific CADD
• Create tentative schedule using the scheduling program for the production
• Create submittals based on Proposal and job
• Identify project specification sections and plan details on
• Assisting Estimator(s) with Data Research when sourcing materials/products
• Following up with Contractors/Builders on Pending Submittal Approvals and/or
• Upload approved submittals to
• Notify superintendent and project manager that submittals have been

Customer Experience:

• Ensure the customer is updated and informed as much as
• Call the customer to confirm ITB was received and to let them know what estimator is assigned to this

Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in an office environment with moderate temperature and noise levels.

Physical Demands: This position remains seated at a desk for extended periods and may be located upstairs, therefore a certain amount of climbing is required daily. Must be able to walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to climb ladders as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week but, at times, may require additional hours to complete the workload.
