Position Overview
The Cluster Security Account Manager (CSAM) oversees all operations, performance, and client relationships across a designated cluster or region. This role includes managing armed guard teams, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The CSAM is a key liaison between clients, field personnel, and Osen-Hunter senior leadership, ensuring effective service delivery and operational excellence.
The CSAM position is position is located and will report daily on-site in the Northern Virginia Area.
Duties
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day security operations for sites within the assigned cluster.
- Ensure armed guards are deployed, trained, and scheduled appropriately to meet client requirements.
- Conduct routine site visits to evaluate guard performance and address operational challenges.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact, ensuring their security needs are met.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining professional communication.
- Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of security plans, and suggesting improvements, as needed.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, onboard, and train armed guards in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure team excellence.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all armed guards comply with federal, state, and local laws, including licensing and firearms regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel and assets.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all security operations, including - but not limited to - incident reports, training records, and compliance audits.
- Financial and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for assigned accounts, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing costs.
- Monitor billing, invoicing, and payroll accuracy for assigned accounts.
- Support business development efforts, including client renewals and new account acquisitions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, business administration, criminal justice, or a related field, preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years in security operations management, with at least ten (10) years overseeing armed guard service or law enforcement/military security operations.
- Proven track record in managing multiple accounts and large teams across diverse locations.

Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in incident reporting systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze and respond to evolving security risks effectively.
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate in English, both orally and in writing, at a high school level or better.
- Position requires full mobility and dexterity to operate equipment.
- Must be able to maintain a standing or sitting position for up to two (2) hours, to include within the confines of a vehicle.
- Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) lbs. climb up and down eight (8) flights of stairs.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.

Certifications and Licenses:
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must hold a current Top Secret security clearance, or a current SECRET clearance with eligibility to obtain and maintain a clearance at the TS level.
- Must possess a valid security license as required by local jurisdiction.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP), preferred.
- Able to obtain an armed security guard license and firearm permits as state and local regulations require.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required certifications, including CPR and First Aid/AED.
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office and field environments, including on-site visits to client locations.
- Must be readily available for duty, even during off-duty hours, unless on scheduled leave. May require evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on client needs and operational demands.
- Must be willing and able to conduct local/regional travel for no more than 10% of work time.
- Must maintain a high level of grooming, physical fitness, and professional appearance.
Must be able to provide documented experience in listed areas of responsibility.
