Restaurant Supervisor
Supervise and participate in all front of house duties as required for day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Train and enforce standards to front of house staff to provide superior guest service. Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Train staff to effectively use POS system, service steps, reservations, and all standard operating procedures.
Create a feeling of teamwork and employee involvement.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal food and beverage laws and regulations.
Deliver an elevated level of guest service according to standards of management and in conjunction with other departments involved.
Promote The Osthoff Resort’s service principles by example; respond to/ resolve guest or employee inquires, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
Train staff to effectively use POS system, service steps, reservations, and all standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal food and beverage laws and regulations.
Deliver an elevated level of guest service according to standards of management and in conjunction with other departments involved.
Promote The Osthoff Resort’s service principles by example; respond to/ resolve guest or employee inquires, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
Maintaining proper dining experience.
Assist in maintaining supplies for efficient operations.
Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
Assign duties, responsibility, and workstations to employees in accordance with work requirements.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
In addition to duties outlined above: work position such as hosting, bartending, expediting on busy days, serving shifts on slower days.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Assist in maintaining supplies for efficient operations.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Be at least 18 years of age
Must have 1 year’s previous restaurant experience

Able to make good decisions based on sound data, quickly and under pressure
Trait of being dependable, trustworthy and credible in the workplace
Delegates and coordinates staff well
