Seasonal Landscape Team Member
The Osthoff Resort is seeking a reliable individual to join our Grounds Crew as a Seasonal Landscape Team Member. This position is a full-time seasonal role that helps maintain our resort’s ground, parking lots, and gardens to the AAA Four Diamond standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general and daily landscape maintenance of the resort’s grounds and gardens including but not limited to mowing, planting, watering, pruning, weeding, mulching, and removal of trash
- Ensure that the resort grounds are presented and maintained at AAA Four Diamond standards
- Assist with larger-scale landscape beautification projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Operation of light mowing equipment and utility transport vehicles
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Seasonal Position: Must be able to start by 5/26 (Memorial Day) and work through 9/1 (Labor Day)**
- Strong customer/guest service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Willing and able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist, reach, stand, climb ladders, and shovel on a frequent basis
- Ability to operate light mowing equipment and transport vehicles
- Positive attitude and a willingness to take direction
- Attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of plant and weed identification a plus
**Ability to start before Memorial Day if able**
**Possibility to continue after Labor Day for the right candidate**
