Responsibilities
- Assist in various painting projects and minor construction, including residential and commercial jobs.
- Learn to read and interpret work orders to understand project specifications.
- Participate in painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Support industrial painting operations, including surface preparation and application techniques.
- Help with maintenance person tasks such as prep work and drywall repairs.
- Gain experience in painting, prep work, priming, and basic carpentry.
- Learn paint techniques for efficient application of coatings.
- Collaborate with team members to restore and maintain existing structures.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of painting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with painting techniques is a plus.
- Experience or interest in painting methods is beneficial.
- Maintenance Person skills such as prep work (cleaning, sanding, caulking) and drywall work are advantageous.
- Ability to restore surfaces and structures effectively is desirable.
