Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar technology.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining experience for guests.
