Our client is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their busy team.
Responsibilities :
Administer and monitor contract performance
Assist with the administration of agreements between the company and vendors, subcontractors and other partiers
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Responsible for reviewing contract terms and will handle contract award processes
Involved with reviewing agreement terms and identifying potential issues,
Review agreement amendments / modifications and incorporating changes
Responsible for insuring compliance with review of contracts for company policy identify risks and areas of concerns
Respond to standard inquiries for contracts and revisions
Preparation of proposals for customer requirements
Will prepare MOUs, MOAs, and domestic and international consultant / sales representative agreements
Participate in management review of proposals
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Strong understanding of contract / purchase order terms
Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
Contract experience within the private / commercial sector
Detailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs teaming and other forms of agreements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Contract / agreement briefing, negotiation and review experience
Experience in monitoring contracts / subcontracts of increasing complexity and value
General computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
