As a Strategic Partnership Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing relationships with key business partners, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. This role is designed for someone who is highly organized, able to handle multiple accounts, and comfortable with both day-to-day tactical activities and long-term strategic planning. You will act as a liaison between our partners and internal departments, facilitating smooth communication, managing deliverables, and working to maximize the value of these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development & Execution :
Proactively identify, evaluate, and execute new partnership opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Assist in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing partnership agreements, ensuring that all parties' objectives are clearly defined and achievable.
Work alongside legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure that all partnerships adhere to regulatory and company standards, particularly around compounding and pharmaceutical regulations.
Track and manage the end-to-end execution of partnership agreements, from initiation through ongoing management, ensuring deadlines are met. 2. Relationship Management :
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners, maintaining day-to-day communication to address concerns, answer questions, and ensure overall partner satisfaction.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of partner objectives, pain points, and needs, ensuring that we can deliver value at every stage of the partnership.
Facilitate regular check-ins, performance reviews, and collaborative discussions to ensure the partnership remains aligned with business goals and that any challenges are addressed early on.
Foster trust-based relationships with partner organizations, facilitating long-term collaboration and mutual growth opportunities. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration :
Work closely with internal teams including operations, marketing, sales, finance, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth execution of partnership goals.
Coordinate deliverables across multiple departments, ensuring that the company meets all agreed-upon milestones and partner expectations.
Prepare and circulate meeting agendas, progress updates, and any other required documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as the main bridge between external partners and internal teams, ensuring that information flows accurately and promptly. 4. Performance Analysis & Reporting :
Use analytical tools and performance metrics to monitor the health of partnerships, identifying trends and areas for improvement or expansion.
Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each partnership, using insights to adjust strategies and optimize outcomes.
Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and the COO on the status of partnerships, providing actionable insights, forecasting future results, and making data-driven recommendations.
Identify and solve bottlenecks in partnership execution, using a results-focused approach to streamline processes and improve outcomes. 5. Strategic Planning :
Contribute to the strategic planning of long-term initiatives to expand the company's market presence through strategic alliances and partnerships.
Participate in high-level discussions with the COO and other executives, offering insights on potential growth opportunities and new markets based on partner feedback and market trends.
Assist in identifying opportunities to integrate partners into new product launches, joint marketing campaigns, or operational innovations.
Use competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the industry that the company can capitalize on through strategic partnerships. 6. Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution :
Act as a problem solver for any issues that arise in the course of partnership execution, working to mediate conflicts, mitigate risks, and maintain positive relationships.
Ensure that any challenges, from operational hiccups to miscommunications, are swiftly identified, escalated when necessary, and addressed through proactive solutions. Qualifications Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A combination of technical and business acumen is highly preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus. Experience :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field, ideally in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or tech industry.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-stakes partnerships simultaneously.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or compounding pharmacy industry and relevant regulatory environments, such as FDA guidelines, cGMP processes, and HIPAA compliance, is a significant advantage. Skills :
Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and external partners.
Proficient in understanding and navigating computer applications, with the ability to comprehend workflows, processes, and technical concepts to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting
An analytical mindset with experience using data-driven insights to track performance, forecast results, and improve decision-making.
High level of organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and an ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficient in using software tools such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), project management tools (like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com), and CRM platforms.
Proficiency in SQL databases is a plus.
