The Parkey Group is a mental health therapy group in Las Vegas, NV. We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include being the face of the clinic on the phone and in person, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include scheduling new client and follow up appointments, communicating with all employees about scheduling, coordinate office schedules, ensure office runs efficiently, and much more. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and Microsoft office equipment. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Write and distribute email.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Have excellent multitasking skills.
- Verify Insurance
- Work with insurance providers on simple billing
- Keep up with account balances and collect outstanding fees
- Order office supplies
- Provide general support to clients.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- MUST have excellent skills in multitasking and customer service, mental health population experience preferred.
Skills
- BILINGUAL IN SPANISH PREFERRED
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Extroverted personality that does not get easily flustered and can do multiple tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed.
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
