Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

Our offices are based in the heart of the Loop in downtown Chicago, but we are pleased to note that our Chicago office is operating on a hybrid work model (mix of in-office and remote work). 

Position Summary:

The Parking Spot’s HRIS Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the HRIS/HR department in a variety of tasks to maintain accurate HR records and data within the UKG database.  This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate UKG system onboarding for field hourly new hires including I9s and E-Verify authorizations. Additionally, the HRIS Coordinator will process status changes while learning new tasks to support reporting and payroll responsibilities across 45 locations. This role is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on technical HRIS experience at a rapidly expanding organization.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly process and hire a large volume of employees in the UKG HRIS system
• Regularly assign training modules and system access to new hires
• Ensure proper personnel file maintenance within the UKG HRIS system
• Maintain accurate HR records and data within the HRIS system. Ensure adherence to established workflows and advise on best practices for unique situations
• Serve as primary point of contact for Field Managers and employees across 45 locations via payroll email inbox
• Assist with running payroll on an as-needed basis
• Assist in special projects as assigned by management including but not limited to compliance-related projects
• Support the Company’s Market of the Year, Culture Week, new location Grand Openings, Annual Leadership Summit, and other milestone events.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• 1-2 years of full-time or internship experience in payroll/HR in a high-volume and fast-paced setting
• Experience using an HRIS, preferably UKG
• Organized individual with strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to help a large employee base
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a busy environment
