The Parks Senior Living in Odessa, Texas provides short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in our community. The Parks is a 14 acre campus offering a continuum of care : ILF, ALF, and SNF. Our therapy department is fully in-house and provides therapists / assistants with flexibility and learning opportunities and we are expanding our team.
Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities :
Develop and implement the Physical Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Physical Therapy Assistants in delivery of the PT plans of care.Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Physical Therapy.Communicate progress and any barriers toward PT goals with interdisciplinary team members.Complete timely PT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each PT patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.Serves and protects the physical therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirementsEnhances physical therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Schedule : Full-time
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
Current Texas licensure as Physical Therapist
