Hey there, we are the Party Jockeys! We help organizations and busy professionals cultivate lasting relationships with their clients, employees, friends, and family. We do that through event entertainment and a lot of Karaoke. We bring the energy, excitement, and logistics to our gathering, and we're looking for someone who can take our karaoke and events to the next level! We’re a high-energy team that thrives on creativity, professionalism, and, most importantly, creating joy at our events.

Are you the life of the party? Do you have a natural ability to get people to laugh, sing, and dance? If you’re outgoing, engaging, and love bringing people together, we want to meet you!

We're seeking a Karaoke Host / Emcee / Party Starter to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who loves music, thrives in social settings, and knows how to keep the energy up in any crowd.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host and emcee karaoke events, ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere.
• Start and maintain the party vibe with great music, energy, and interaction.
• Encourage participation, build excitement, and engage with guests.
• Learn how to manage and care for karaoke equipment, ensure smooth technical operations, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Create a fun, inclusive, and memorable experience for all guests.
• Show up looking polished, professional, and joyful to events and activations.
• Help with events, marketing, setup, and strike when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and public speaking skills—confidence is key!
• A love for music and karaoke (bonus points for knowing a wide variety of songs).
• High-energy, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Ability to read the room and adapt to different energy levels.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as many of our events are in the evening.
• Experience as an emcee, entertainer, or party host is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 songs you can perform confidently on stage (bonus points if they are all in different genres).
