We are a private country club that officially opened for business in 2010. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN A LA CARTE DINING MANAGER
As our A La Carte Dining Manager, you play a very important role in our clubhouse operations. The visibility and building rapport with members is one of the essential elements of the daily routine. You hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate your staff performance. The A La Carte Dining Manager plays a huge supportive role to our staff as a leader. Under your excellent leadership, they take pride in their work. Your style of management fosters teamwork, respect, accountability, and trust. You lead by example and train them in all aspects of providing 5-star service. With attention to detail, you approve the bi-weekly payroll prior to submitting it. You ensure that local and state laws along with our policies are consistently followed.
You serve as the opening or closing manager on duty. As you take reservations, you ensure that the dining rooms are set up based on the anticipated guest counts and members' needs. You take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the clubhouse. Caring for our members by anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations, you handle any issues as they arise with patience and professionalism. As a liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house staff, you ensure that service flows smoothly. You produce and submit accurate daily reports.
Always looking for ways to streamline operations, you create, implement, and monitor procedures. You also implement an ongoing marketing program to increase a la carte business. To maintain our high standards while maximizing profitability, you continually monitor the labor and supplies budget. You also work with the Executive Chef to update, review, and print menu changes as well as assist in developing the wine lists and beverage promotions. You get great satisfaction out of providing our members and guests with an exceptional dining experience!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN A LA CARTE DINING MANAGER
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a private club or hospitality business
Alcoholic beverage certification
Food safety certification
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Exceptional skills in hospitality
Leadership skills
A bachelor's degree in hospitality is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills? WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time or full-time hospitality job in our clubhouse is shared with other managers and works 45-55 hours per week. An A La Carte Dining manager will be on duty 5-6 days a week.
