Ideal candidates will have a background in military / aviation / aerospace programs and / or sales experience.The position requires working directly with customers to identify solutions for maintenance and overhaul challenges using the company's unique equipment. Customers include OEMs (both military and commercial), MROs, direct military maintenance providers, and commercial carrier locations.Job Responsibilities Include : Demonstrate technical knowledge of aviation products, Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO), and market requirements to effectively sell in diverse markets.Support and represent corporate initiatives in specific markets, customer segments, and applications.Build market success by identifying, developing, and defining programs and prospects to meet the company's sales and growth goals.Represent the company to customers, develop relationships with industry associations and governmental agencies, support trade shows, and communicate with key decision-makers.Participate in sales strategies, market and account plans, and expand sales opportunities based on the current market position.Assist in developing and implementing account strategies to capture medium- to long-term domestic sales opportunities.Contribute to business cases as well as bid and proposal activities for customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs).Help forecast customer orders and deliveries to support manufacturing and financial planning.Learn and understand the organization's sales and marketing strategies, contractual policies, and technical capabilities to effectively represent these in the marketplace.Participate in domestic and global sales strategies in both Military and Commercial segments.Contribute to sales and marketing content (e.g., case studies, white papers, videos, blog posts) in collaboration with the management team as needed.BACKGROUND PROFILE : 3-5 years of aerospace or defense sales experience.Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations and speaking to small groups.Product demonstration experience is a plus.Experience developing business cases as well as participating in bid and proposal activities for customer RFPs.Familiarity with aerospace maintenance or similar experience is a plus.Able to travel 60-75% of the time.Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
