Responsibilities Registered Nurse Supervisor :
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Manage nurse staffing schedules, including assignments, rotations, and shift coverage to maintain adequate nurse-patient ratios.
Facilitate training and orientation for new nursing staff and ongoing education to ensure continuous professional development.
Assist nursing staff in complex patient care situations, providing expertise, and guidance when necessary.
Monitor the quality of nursing care, conducting regular assessments, and implementing improvement initiatives.
Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights, safety, and preferences are respected and addressed.
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among the nursing team, as well as with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
Participate in emergency response and crisis management, including providing leadership during medical emergencies.
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as healthcare facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications RN Supervisor :
Licensed RN in the state of Florida
Vaccinated or valid exemption
Supervisory experience required
SNF / LTC Experience Required
