- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
- Manage nurse staffing schedules, including assignments, rotations, and shift coverage to maintain adequate nurse-patient ratios.
- Facilitate training and orientation for new nursing staff and ongoing education to ensure continuous professional development.
- Assist nursing staff in complex patient care situations, providing expertise, and guidance when necessary.
- Monitor the quality of nursing care, conducting regular assessments, and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights, safety, and preferences are respected and addressed.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among the nursing team, as well as with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management, including providing leadership during medical emergencies.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as healthcare facility policies and procedures.
- Licensed RN in the state of Florida
- Vaccinated or valid exemption
- Supervisory experience required
- SNF / LTC Experience Required
