Job Title : Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist
POSITION SUMMARY :
A Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist with strong leadership abilities,communication, and problem solving skills who, with minimum supervision,collaborates with all members of the treatment team in assessment of patientneeds related to discharge planning and coordinates interventions with othermembers of the treatment team to meet those needs in a quality cost effectivemanner. Collaborates with Utilization Review to ensure requirements forfunding sources are met as well as to ensure that legal process requirementsare met for patients on involuntary status. Facilitates individual and familytherapies as ordered daily group therapy for assigned unit(s) and completionof comprehensive psychosocial assessments. Completes psychosocial assessmentsin coordination with assigned unit therapists to identify and seek to addresspatient needs. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence andpractices the Service Excellence and practices the Service ExcellenceStandards to all customer groups.
PROVISION OF SERVICES_
Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through acollaborative process designed to integrate servicesfunctions throughoutNWTHS. Assesses or coordinates the assessment of patient healthcare andeducation needs and collaborates with all members of the healthcare team tomeet those needs. Orchestrates patient hospital process for provision ofseamless, efficient care. Demonstrates the ability to effectively allocatehuman and material resources to meet patient care needs. Complies with annualeducation requirements and safety and injury prevention standards to minimizerisk to self and co-workers.

Qualifications
Requirements :
1. Any of the following Licensed Therapist Credentials : LPC, LPC-Associate,LCSW, LMSW, LMFT currently licensed in the state of Texas with a Master’sDegree (in a Mental or Behavioral Health). 2. Excels in interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire orwithin 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment.This must be obtained prior to providing patient care
Physical and Sensory Requirements :
1. Ability to read and write in English 2. Ability to speak and hear, to allow discussions with employees and peers. 3. Ability to cope with and remain calm under stress 4. Ability to respond to pages 5. Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independentdecisions 6. Ability to repeatedly twist, squat and stoop. 7. Bending, lifting (minimum of 25 pounds), grasping, fine hand coordination,pushing, and pulling. 8. Ability to understand and interpret financial data
