Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all nursing services within the facility
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Develop and implement policies to enhance resident care quality
- Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff
- Collaborate with medical professionals and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor infection control and quality assurance programs
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Previous experience as a DON or Nurse Manager in a long-term care setting
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
