Role Summary:
The Manager, Client Services oversees client relationships, team leadership, and 3PL operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. This role involves managing account teams, optimizing logistics, and driving strategic growth through data analysis and process improvements. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration, enhance reporting and automation, and ensure financial performance while maintaining compliance and risk management. A strong background in customer service, supply chain logistics, and leadership is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

Directly manage and coach Key Account Managers, Account Executives, Customer Service Representatives, and Reporting Analysts.

Provide leadership across 3PL operations, including warehouse and logistics.

With the assistance of Key Account Managers, the Client Services Manager will mentor and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

Implement training programs and conduct performance reviews.
Customer Account Management

Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention during escalation of concerns.

Develop strategic account plans to drive growth and performance with cooperation from the Key Account Managers and Account Executives.

Lead business reviews and oversee order fulfillment, inventory management, and reporting.
Shipping, Logistics & Operations

Oversees shipping, inbound/outbound logistics, and supply chain processes.

Contributes to the optimization warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with carriers and suppliers to negotiate contracts and enhance service.

Monitor KPIs for shipping accuracy and delivery timelines.
Reporting, Data Analysis & Process Improvement

Oversee customer reporting on performance, inventory, and logistics.

Use data analysis to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.

Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives in 3PL operations.

Develop dashboards for enhanced visibility and insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with sales, IT, operations, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery while being the point person for senior management.

Support marketing in go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.

Partner with technology teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.
Financial & Risk Management

Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.

Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:

710 years of experience in 3PL or supply chain management.
-
At least 5 years in leadership with experience developing and mentoring direct reports

Expertise in shipping, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations.

Proven ability to manage customer accounts and ensure exceptional service.

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and logistics management systems.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
