About us
We are an established growing, family oriented, fast paced practice looking for a
Front Desk Receptionist (preferabley, Bilingual and CMA certification) to join and provide high quality Pediatric clinical care. Must demonstrate that candidate works collaboratively with staff and health care team members to meet both acute care and health maintenance needs of our patients. Engages patients, patients’ families, and their caregivers in a manner that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to the patient and caregiver. The Pediatric Care Center is a small pediatric practice with offices in Bristol and Southington, CT. Candidate may work at either office depending on need. We are a collaborative and professional staff with the goal to provide the best work and patient experience for all. Being able to speak and understand spanish is highly desired as we have a large patient population where spanish is thier first language. Will usually work 8am to 5pm (but may run later than 5:00pm), will need to be able to work one late night from 10am to 7pm once per week (Seasonal) and at least one Saturday per month from 8:00am to 12:00PM noon (but may run later than 12:00PM).

Job Responabilities:
· Appointment Scheduling and Telephone Triage,
· Verifies patient demographic information everytime we speak to patient/parent/guardian,
· Verify purpose of visit (Sick Visit, Well Visit, ADHD, Asthma, etc.),
· Assists with office procedures, paperwork and testing as directed by the physician,
· Assist in Referral processing and monitoring, as needed.
· Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
· Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
· Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, participation in CME teleconferences, and in office luncheons.
· Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Assisting the practice in any way I can to improve the practice.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
