A Day in the Life
A typical day in the life of a Development Manager is often busy and involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Here's a summary of what a day in your life might look like:
Team Development
- Conduct coaching sessions with team members to discuss targets, strategies, and address any challenges or concerns they may have.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to individual team members, offering guidance on effective sales techniques, objection handling, and relationship-building strategies.
Business Development
- Work with leadership team to identify and hire team members to drive revenue growth and build strong client relationships within our market.
- Attend meetings with clients and accompany team members on client visits to observe their selling techniques and provide feedback.
- Network with industry professionals, attend conferences, and participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies and set targets for the agency.
- Analyze metrics to identify areas of improvement and create action plans for business success.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide relevant insights and recommendations to team members.
- Dedicate time to administrative tasks, such as updating training materials, documenting training progress, and maintaining training records.
