Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Assign daily cleaning tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, and inspect their work to ensure it meets the required standards.
- Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance tasks, and provide ongoing training to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Quality Control: Regularly inspect guest rooms, communal areas, and other facilities for cleanliness and order.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Customer Service: Handle guest complaints and queries related to housekeeping services, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Scheduling: Schedule shifts for housekeeping staff and manage their attendance.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas of the establishment.
- Reporting: Submit reports on housekeeping activities and room occupancy to upper management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Skills: Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks, excellent organizational and team management skills, and the ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Education: A high school diploma is a plus.
