Under supervision, the Senior Library Technician performs a wide range of paraprofessional technical and clerical functions primarily in the circulation / reserves area, assisting as needed with patron service and book cataloging, processing, and shelving. Incumbent is responsible for performing work at a high paraprofessional level and expected to exercise independent judgment in the applications of established procedures. Supervision and training of student assistants may be a function of this position.
