We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, empathetic, outgoing Veterinarian to join our team at this privately owned practice in southeast coastal Georgia . New graduates and seasoned candidates should have a strong background in animal physiology, care, and handling, with a passion for providing high-quality veterinary services. This position can be flexible with either part-time or full time, and there is potential for partnerships/ownership for the right individual. At our state of the art facility we pride ourselves in providing very personalized, individual attention to our clients and their pets and our focus is on quality not quantity. We provide mostly small animal medicine and surgery with no boarding or grooming. An individual with interest in exotics, equine or orthopedic surgery would have a fabulous opportunity in this area as well. 4 day work week with no weekends and very rare after hour emergencies. Facility and compensation
- 2300 square foot facility with 4 exam rooms , with an additional 1800 square-foot space that is currently rented out to a medical doctor.
- brand new digital X-ray, ultrasound, therapy/ surgical laser and Idexx/Abaxis CBC and chemistry machines.
- wonderful support staff with a 2/1 tech/doctor ratio.
- compensation depends on experience, but is based on industry standards with a production based salary if desired.
- Two weeks of paid vacation, paid national holidays
- 3 days paid time off for continuing education with a $1500 budget for registration and travel expenses.
- paid dues for AVMA, GVMA and DEA and state license
- contributions to health insurance, health savings accounts and SEP retirement account.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of animal physiology, anatomy, and handling techniques.
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Experience with pet care and a genuine love for animals and people.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
