Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair in accordance with factory standards.
- Communicate with service advisors about additional work or repairs.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Additional Duties
- Ensure customers' vehicles are kept clean.
- Notify service advisors of any safety issues.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
Requirements
- Certificates, licenses, and registrations are preferred.
- Heating and Air Conditioning Certification for Commercial Truck.
- Manual Drive Train and Axle Certification for Auto/Light Truck.
- Brakes Certification for Medium/Heavy Truck.
- Drive Train Certification for Eaton and Meritor.
- State Emission Certification.
- State Vehicle Inspector Certification.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Paccar MX Certification.
- Cummins Engine Certification on ISB, ISC & ISX 2150 through 2350.
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically able to operate equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
