Associate, Talent Acquisition (Hybrid)
Position Overview The Associate manages many of the operational processes that support the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and the hiring process at Pew. This individual will leverage creative ideas and resources to innovate and enhance the work of the team and the Pew hiring processes. The Associate partners with other team members in support of departmental goals. Important qualifications include high work standards, work prioritization to balance competing demands, strong project management, process improvement, initiative, attention to detail, sound judgment, flexibility, and the discretion to handle confidential information.
The Associate reports to the Project Director, Talent Acquisition and is based in Pew's Washington, DC office and is eligible for hybrid work. Pew maintains two in-person "core days" each week,
currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Responsibilities
Recruiting Support
- Provide high quality customer service to, and foster meaningful and productive relationships with, staff, candidates, and vendors.
- Offers and employment agreements : Manage the process and documentation related to hiring finalists for all roles, globally. This requires collaborating with colleagues and the use of various systems to ensure accuracy of offer letters and other hiring agreements and timely delivery to candidates.
- New hire due diligence : oversee the vetting process for in-coming hires to ensure all pre-hire activities are completed in a timely manner. Manage the timely collection and routing of all necessary new hire data and information : offer letters, background check results, conflict of interest forms, update new hire tracking log, etc.
- Employee referrals : ensure eligible staff receive referral payouts according to Pew's internal policy.
- Innovation : identify opportunities for improvement (streamlining, automation, or simplification), assess alternative solutions, and present to team leadership for implementation.
- Facilitate bi-weekly team meetings with meaningful agendas to guide the conversation.
- Other duties as assigned : assist with any stages of the recruitment life cycle across any vacancies. scheduling of interviews with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range
55,900 USD - $62,500 USD
The salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on Pew's commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and business need.
