Our client, a prominent law firm based in Irvine, CA is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team!
Responsibilities :
- Document Organization : Manage, organize, and review litigation documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Docketing & Calendar Management : Provide docketing and calendar support for the firm’s litigation practices, ensuring important deadlines and tasks are tracked.
- E-Discovery Assistance : Support the collection, processing, and review of electronically stored information (ESI) using industry-standard tools and software.
- Database Maintenance : Oversee and update litigation databases, ensuring that case information is accurate and securely stored.
- Legal Research : Conduct legal research and provide summarized findings to aid attorneys in developing case strategies.
- Training & Support : Train staff and end users on effective document management and database usage.
- Reporting : Prepare and deliver status updates and case summaries for attorneys, emphasizing key developments and upcoming deadlines.
- Trial Support : Assist attorneys with trial preparation by creating exhibit lists and organizing trial binders.
