Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an IP / Trademark Legal Assistant to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Draft, prepare, and format correspondence, memos, and legal documents as instructed.
- Review, proofread, and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct trademark investigations related to adverse parties and provide detailed findings.
- Communicate with clients and the trademark team regarding deadlines, filings, and case updates.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring proper transmission of physical documents to the records department.
- Develop spreadsheets and project trackers to monitor team assignments and client requests effectively.
- Collaborate with the docketing specialist to confirm deadlines are accurately calendared and met.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform conflicts checks using the electronic intake system and draft engagement letters as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel arrangements for attorneys.
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reports on behalf of attorneys.
- Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned to support the team.
