3month Contract to Hire position*
Day to day:
- Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, create and execute test cases, report and track quality issues.
- Work with business partners and squad members to thoroughly understand the product, workflow, business requirements and software specifications.
- Plan and execute software testing to confirm quality and compliance to requirements and specifications.
- Write Acceptance Criteria for such tests but go beyond what is the minimum needed to pass tickets and ensure software produced holistically meets user expectations.
- Execute not just UX but also API testing as needed, typically done via JSON web service calls.
- Perform tests to improve quality of software promoted through different stages of development to catch quality issues early.
- Define and execute regression test plans for product release.
- Review and respond to situations that users might face and assist in problem analysis and resolution.
- Actively participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions across system call chains.
- Create and track user complaints, bugs and other nonconformance through relevant tracking systems.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and in technical meetings.

- Possess strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Possess strong general computer, mobile and web application competence.
- Good understanding of web services and how to use tools like Postman.
- Demonstrate knowledge of testing, version control and defect management practices.
- Balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with intense cross-functional collaboration needed to drive project success.
- Display strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Salary : $70,000 - $92,000
